Privacy Policy
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
Shift Amp (“we”, “us”) is an employee scheduling service operated by ShiftAmp LLC. This policy describes what information we handle when a business (“your employer” or “the organization”) uses Shift Amp to schedule its team, and what choices you have.
Information we handle
- Account information: your name, email address, and a password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider).
- Workforce information entered by your employer:your positions, work locations, and employment status.
- Scheduling information: shifts, published schedules, availability you propose, time-off requests (including any notes you write), and shift release/claim activity.
- Operational records: an audit history of schedule-affecting actions (who did what, when), retained so that schedules stay trustworthy and disputes are answerable.
- Error and usage telemetry: when something breaks we collect technical error reports scrubbed of credentials, tokens, notes, and contact details; we also measure product usage with organization-level events that contain no names, emails, phone numbers, or message content.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your information for advertising.
- We do not record your sessions or capture analytics tied to you as an individual.
How information is shared
Your schedule information is visible to your organization’s managers and administrators according to their roles. Coworkers see only what the workflow requires (for example, a released shift is shown to eligible coworkers without revealing who released it). We use service providers to run Shift Amp — hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), and error monitoring (Sentry) / product analytics (PostHog) as described above.
Your employer’s role
Your employer administers its organization in Shift Amp and decides who is invited, what roles people hold, and when records are archived or deleted. For questions about the information your employer manages, contact your employer first.
Deletion and access requests
You may request deletion of your account, and organization owners may request deletion of their organization, by contacting support@shiftamp.com. See the Support page for how these requests are verified and processed. Some records (for example the audit history of published schedules) may be retained where required for the organization’s legitimate business records; personal details are removed or anonymized on deletion.
